    Throughout your tour, enjoy the views of San Francisco landmarks such as Alcatraz, San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge, the Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower and others.

    Tour bus stops at the following landmarks to allow for additional time to sightsee and take photos: Twin Peaks panoramic lookout (weather permitting), Golden Gate Park, and Golden Gate Bridge-Vista Point.

    Travel in style, on a comfortable, air conditioned vehicle, across the Golden Gate Bridge, the icon of San Francisco, and through our picturesque coastal headlands into one of the oldest national monuments.

    Nestled at the foot of Mount Tamalpais is Muir Woods National Monument, one of the remaining groves of first growth coastal redwoods. The woods were named for John Muir, a 19th century naturalist who was instrumental in establishing the National Park system.

    Muir Woods is made up of over 560 acres of redwood forest containing the largest Coast redwoods, up to 252 feet tall and 14 feet across. Wander through this grove of virgin Redwoods and capture photo opportunities like you’ve rarely experienced. The park is home to 50 species of birds, black-tailed deer, steelhead trout and hundreds of other wild inhabitants.

    Then travel on to picturesque Sausalito which was once a fishing village and now a tiny bayside community. Quaint Victorian bungalows are built into the steep hillside and a variety of restaurants, boutiques and small art galleries line the downtown shopping district. Sausalito has a Mediterranean appeal that is often compared to the French Riviera. There you’ll have time for shopping, photos or a bit of exploring along the waterfront of this unique town, with its old world charm and fantastic views of the Bay and San Francisco skyline.

    Your tour concludes at Ghirardelli Square, the former chocolate factory, where you will have the chance to explore historic Fisherman’s Wharf, you will have the choice of returning directly to your hotel or doing some further sightseeing on your own.

    Note: There will be approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes between tours for you to have lunch on your own (lunch not included).

    Hotel Guests: This tour begins with complimentary pick up from your hotel (see list) approximately 1 hour (Union Square area hotels) to 30 minutes (Fisherman's Wharf area hotels) prior to the tour departure time.

    Passengers not staying at a hotel: You will be requested to meet at the main departure terminal located at Ghirardelli Square/Fisherman's Wharf. Parking is available at a discounted rate.

    Passengers traveling on BART or by Cal Train: Please see our FAQ section for instructions.

    Driving: a VIP reduced parking rate available, validation given at check in.

    SF Airport Hotels: Please note, airport pick up is available ONLY for tours beginning at 9am and return drop off departs San Francisco once daily at 6:00pm. Additional $5 per person fee payable directly to the tour company at check in. There is NO airport pick up for Yosemite tours.
