This is a small group tour by van which offers more time in the park (5 -6 hours) and greater flexibility than large bus tours. In a small van you'll see places in the park that the large buses can't reach!

Upon early morning pickup between 6:15-7am, this tour takes you east across the Oakland Bay Bridge with stunning views of the San Francisco skyline, Alcatraz Island, Fisherman's Wharf and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Next you'll pass through the Central Valley where much of our country’s agriculture is grown. There's a stop at a fruit stand to enjoy local produce! After this quick rest stop the van begins winding up through the foothills of the Sierra Nevada and into the mountains where you'll see the California Gold Country and the 49ers gold rush town of Groveland (alternative route maybe used during winter and heavy weather days).

Then it's on to Yosemite National Park, often referred to as one of America’s national treasures.

There is a one and a half hour narrated tour with all the highlights of the park including the 2,425-foot Yosemite Falls, the highest fall in North America (note: Yosemite Falls does not flow between early to mid August until first winter rain), the granite building blocks of the Sierra Nevada: El Capitan, Cathedral Rock, Three Brothers, Royal Arches, Half Dome and Clouds Rest. and the breathtaking Inspiration Point 4,500 feet above sea level.

After the tour the van will stop for the afternoon near the base of Yosemite Falls where there are a variety of options for lunch (not included). After eating you will have 3-4 hours of free time to explore the valley as you choose.

This one day tour will focus on the rock formations and waterfalls in the Yosemite Valley. The majestic beauty of the park is world famous. There will be many amazing photo opportunites! On the drive back to the city we drive through the Merced River corridor along the Beautiful Merced River. A fantastic sunset on the way back to the Bay Area completes your day.

This is a small group tour, biodiesel vans and minibuses accommodate up to 15 passengers. Vans have air conditioning and will make regular rest stops.
